Why Not?

I felt bored and found this silly site that makes a person dance like a fool. You can upload any picture and make the person dance... I`m a nerd so I decided to make Gordon Freeman, the silent scientist of Half-Life fame, dance like a champ! Click here to see the magic!

Gordon isn't ashamed!

Game Rant: Gotcha Force

Yippee! Time for a very obscure game! Gotcha Force is one of those games no one knows about (well no one I know anyways) but you love. Time for a rant!

Apparently Capcom considers this one of their favourite games

Gotcha Force is about a little kid you can name (default Kou) who finds a little robot called G-Red. G-Red is a Gotcha Borg which is a little robot that fights other borgs. Kou and G-Red form the Gotcha Force and they slowly recruit Kou's friends to fight against the Galactic Emperor, leader of the Death Force.

The battles have zany actions, with crazy contraptions, fun is catchin'... It's Mouse Tr- I mean Gotcha Force!
Time for gameplay!  The battles are crazy, there are lasers flying around everywhere! The controls are very basic, since all you really do is mash B and hold X occasionally also pressing A to jump and or hover. It may sound boring but the game is actually a blast!

Yaaaaar! Thar be a lot of bots! AAAAAR!
Here's it the main theme since the music is pretty good and super Japanese, enjoy now ya hear!

Well that's it. BYE!

OST Today: Sonic Adventure 2

Hi again! Instead of talking about a bad game, I'll talk about a good one! Today is Sonic Adventure 2 (or Sonic Adventure 2: Battle if you played on GCN). I don't know about you but I really like Sonic music, not just the Genesis stuff I'm talking about Genesis and beyond! That means the Adventure series, Sonic Heroes, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colours and especially Sonic Generations! So I'm going to talk about two themes from SA2: City Escape and For True Story.

I. LOVE. THIS. SONG. It has been in my head since 2001 when I first played the game and I'm happy about it! It's so upbeat even though you are escaping from the military (G.U.N.). When the song first plays you can picture Sonic falling from the sky on the board from the airship and... Well... Rolling around at the speed of sound. Listening to this theme makes me want to play the game for another playthrough (I've already done it five times)!

This theme, you know it's the final battle... Sonic VS Shadow, it's what you were waiting for who is the "faker"? Who is the number one hedgehog? Well it depends on which story you play... BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! This is a good theme and I like it therefore you must like it.

Luckily both of these themes were remade in Sonic Generations! Here they are!

City Escape Modern

City Escape Classic

For True Story

Game Rant: The Aquatic Games

This game is made by assholes! The Aquatic Games is an Olympic style game where you have to do a few events. It was released for the Genesis/Mega Drive, Amiga, Atari ST and SNES (as Super Aquatic Games). The events are OK but the controls are SHIT! Don't worry though it stars James Pond and the Aquabats! Wait who the fuck are those guys?! James Pond is the only one who is slightly known since he stars in three other games. Yep four games in total. How many did you know? None? That's what I thought! Anyways back to the game...

The first event: 100 Metre Splash (get used to the aquatic puns) is a simple foot race, except you have to mash A+B as fast as you can for up to 17 seconds. Your opponent blasts off as soon as you begin and the game doesn't tell you what to do at all so you are left having to find it out yourself, which will cause you to lose at least the first time.

There is supposed to be a frog but he's already halfway to the finish
If you manage to beat that you get to the next event: Kipper Watching! OH BOY SOUNDS LIKE FUN GUYS! All you do is bounce balls off screen before they hit a kipper (which isn't even a word for seal). There are six kippers and if a ball hits one it wakes up for around three seconds before falling asleep again. If a ball hits the kipper before it falls asleep it runs away like the bitch it is. Even though there are six kippers if two run away. You lose. If you lose you have to start from the beginning of the game. So make sure you can do the 100 Metre Splash very easily!

It gets a little chaotic....
That's all I'm going to say about the game play because I've been trying to beat it for around thirteen years (I know I suck at it but still)! So off to the music!

The main theme is Ode to Joy for some reason but sounds so bad you want to rip your ears out, blend them and then drink your ear-liquid...... Gross, sorry about that!

The only joy I get is when I turn this shit off!

Fortunately I can't find anymore of the music on YouTube and I really don't want to record any of the music because that would mean I'd have to listen to it. If you want to listen to the rest of this shitty music then go on and play The Aquatic Games! I highly recommend you don't!
